In the directions it says that depending on your tolerance level and setting, the laser can feel anywhere from a gently single to a rubber band slap. It also says that the higher the setting the more effective it is. So if you're a glutton for punishment, you can also be hairless.I don't know what that means...and I'm happy about that.
It was Plex. I installed Plex on my computer and on the Oppo, I just went to the "network" option (as opposed to BD, movie, or music) and it automatically detected that there was a Plex media server attached. My brother knows Plex. Maybe I'll check into that.
It certainly is convenient if you get it all working. If I ever get around to setting my NAS back up, I'm thinking of getting two larger drives to put into it so that I can put most of my BD library on it and stream directly to the Oppo. I'll never had to get off the couch again. Although my biggest fear is that I'll like it so much that I'll ditch the Oppo altogether and make the move to an HTPC. What a world, where the Oppo is used as a backup BD/SACD player.Cool, thanks.
I have to say that I've been really impressed by the capabilities of the Sony BDP-S3100 regarding the files that it can play. Although not listed in the manual, it can play FLV and MKV files without a hitch.
Dude, that's the world that you live in, though. Weren't you running your Phil's as surround speakers at some point? What a world, where the Oppo is used as a backup BD/SACD player.
Shhhhh, that's buried deep down in my Pros and Joes thread. You mentioning that got me thinking. Since my join date I've had:Dude, that's the world that you live in, though. Weren't you running your Phil's as surround speakers at some point?![]()
He ues 2 to make his box and mark it out when it's done ill take a picture for you we've already started mounting the subs, just wireing them as we speakeWhy are there 16 boxes, but only 14 drivers?
I'm think of suggesting you guys moving this to the Twister Prep Thread. My GF got it but I'm kinda curious about it. She said I should use it on my a$$ hair. I sure don't want to experience a "rubber band snap" down there though.
How's thois going? does it work well for you?Trying a new email app. Cloud magic. So far so good, although the name reminds me of my cousin who has created a quite a few "magic clouds" in his day. And yet he's the one with a real teaching job![]()

So far I migrated both my tablet and phone to cloud magic and love it. It works much much better than the standard mail app that came with the devices and I even like it more than the mail app on the iphone and ipad, which I was pretty fond of.I decided to migrate to Cloudmagic on my Android phone.... trying this as it looks interesiting
Ahhh, as life should be. You know, that scene in American Pie just wouldn't have been the same with the line, "I believed 'lasered' is the expression."Well, the laser is going back. The GF found it too painful, even at level 3. I gave it a try on my upper arm just to see what it felt like. Perhaps I'm a giant wuss (given), but that sh!t was not pleasant in any shape or form. So I got her signed up for dollar shave club and we'll give that a try.
