To pizza or not to pizza, that is the question. I've been asking myself that for a few days now.
To Pizza or not to pizza.
Round and round in circles, pizzas' go
some were made square, did you know?
Defining the true meaning of this worldly dish
is it the ingredients, or the shape, that makes them de-lish?
Scallops, crab, cockles, winkles, pineapple and ham
atop a crusty pastry, covered in cheese and strawberry jam
Chicken, deer meat, sausage, octopus and squid
a smorgasbord of gourmet delicacies, amid
Deep dish, thin crust, and stuffed if you will
round or rectangular, inside out, either way will fill
Frozen from the grocery store or fresh from the shop
a pizza is a pizza, whether you disagree or not
Have it delivered or pick it up yourself
thick and greasy cheeses, may be bad for your health?
Eat it hot for dinner or eat it in the morning cold
what ever your preference, a meal in one slice to behold
Small, large, extra large, or super sized
share it with your friends and eat it with fries
Keep it to yourself, a few days it may last
A pizza is a popular dish, a nutritious repast
Is this a pizza poetry thread, now?
