They are the real deal. Handmade in Germany. I own a 5.1 set-up consisting of the 830 towers f&r, and the 330 center. There is just no finer speaker for the money. The bookshelf is worth its asking price, each. But, they are priced as a pair. They are 4ohm, with an 85dB sensitivity rating. They suck-up the power, but the dividends are huge. Just for an example, you could add this little Pioneer Elite amp to drive the MBQ's for a total of $929.98, not including the center.
