ProJect TT upgrade?

I like the turntable I have, but if I had my druthers, I'd look for one with a selector knob to change speeds rather than the cumbersome way with this tt where you remove the platter and move the belt to a different pulley groove. Not so much for 7" 45's, but for the handful of 12" (mostly) audiophile 45 rpm discs in my collection.

then perhaps a direct drive is in your future ?
No. This one is fine besides that. If I switched, there are belt drives with speed knobs. I had a DD semi-auto Technics prior to this ProJect that had TT rumble. But it was about 42 years old when I sold it so maybe that had something to do with it.

LOL, 42 years old. The new '1200' has specs that no turntable anywhere near it's price point that I know of can touch.

FWIW I utilize a belt drive table(VPI Aries III) along with a SDS speed control so when I listen to a 45 Lp change is a breeze

That looks like a nice tt! Out of my price range I bet (if I was in the market).
