So, now that's it's quite obvious 'ole Joe was out of the 'wheel house' those last couple years(at least), who or what was running the executive branch ??

But you repeatedly deflects, in MAGA style, in post after post that Trump when directly asked about Trump's cognitive decline.

This is just as dishonest as a Republican claiming to care about deficits and fiscal responsibility: Complete phony.

But here you are, yet again, carrying water for Trump as an obedient "Never-Trumper", like another member here. I'm sure you'll whine about that, as before.

So, Trump is in a serious cognitive decline or not? And no, "pathetic" is not the same as "cognitive decline", except in the mind of, you know what. You could try use your own "advice": look it up in a dictionary. Preferably a reputable one.

Mostly because people like you — who swear they’re not Trumpsters, while going on to vigorously defend Trump

Deflect what ? , my post was and is on subject with the thread so I thought. This thread has NOTHING to do with Trumps cognitive decline, or yours for that matter. You keep coming back with deflection BS. Besides I asked a question in my post and YOU deflect !

So, in order to get you re-railed, yes Trump is in cognitive decline. Now perhaps you can answer my question in post #564

The Term "Executive Branch" reflects that although led by the President, it is supposed to be a team...

Most of the day to day decisions and associated work are delegated - that means that even with a President suffering from issues - the ship can still sail (so to speak).

The main problem with Trump, is that he has to personally be involved in everything - and any of his "team" (I use the term extremely loosely in this case) know that if he isn't pleased with what they produce, they are likely to be sacked.

Hence unlike Biden, where there really was a team, with a relatively consistent vision, and therefore people could make decisions and proceed with running things.... with Trump, cognitive decline has an immediate and dramatic influence on actual operation of the Executive Branch.... yeah in the Trump autocracy, if the leader has issues, then the ship is rudderless, drifting, moving in random directions. (something that was not the case for the Biden administration).

Ultimately this is the fundamental weakness of any/all autocratic systems - they are only as good (or bad) as the guy at the helm - and as they maintain their position by squashing any independence below them (for that is the nature of these beasts) - then the whole system grinds to a halt if anything is amiss with "beloved leader".

Good governance is always assured by having competent teams and empowering them - the Trump administration has demonstrably, not got a competent team, and Trump absolutely does not empower his people.

To consider Mikado's posts as seriously analytical/factual....meh. He's more an authoritarian drone for the most part....maybe a habit learned in his corporate life.

Duh, the people below him. While, yes, it wasn't good they hid it, it also was obvious. I guess the details come out later, but again it feels like Republicans need something to cling on to while Trump continues to be an embarrassment.

Well the last time I looked most puppeteers operated from above ;)

Agreed, just as the Dems tried their best to derail Trump prior to the election as deflection for Bidens slippage. Think about this, had they succeeded and Joe got re-elected, the 25th amendment would for sure be on the table at this point.

Another way to look at it, if not for COVID, would Joe have even got elected ? Perhaps his deficiencies would have been exposed with more 'open' campaigning ? Meaning, Trump would have been re-elected  and gone by now :D

From where I sit we are in a very counter productive time zone, have been for now going on 12 years

Hmm guess I assumed Trump lost because he's an a$$hole as the primary reason. (MAGA doesn't understand this for the most part.) It still feels to me, despite whatever the Dems are doing, like Trump is his biggest obstacle. I never got the vibe covid was the primary reason for the loss.

You can stop the 'like another member here'- that's childish.

Commenting on Biden or Trump doesn't need to include the other but you don't seem to understand that- if I say "Trell sucks", it doesn't include anyone else, it stands on its own.

Rather than stir the pot in discussions about our political BS, why not do something to help your own country? While you might be doing that already, coming here and posting your bullshit doesn't help anyone but you, as a way to piss people off.

Biden looks and acts like someone in a stroke ward in a hospital- saw exactly the same behaviors when my dad was there after his stroke. Trump nods off, too- I have read that he doesn't sleep much, so that could cause a lot of his weirdness but I don't know and I'm not going to defend him.

For all of your claiming 'Whataboutism!", you do it frequently, as in your "

I hope you're not waiting for someone to say "No, he's not!" in response to your "He's an a$$hole" comment. I don't know if I have ever heard anyone deny that.

I've never heard anyone on the right say he is. Rarely. Rather a large chunk of them embraced his a$$holery, but they cannot say it out loud obviously.

It sure took you many posts to admit that Trump is in cognitive decline.

Oh my, aren't you sensitive.

Commenting on Biden or Trump doesn't need to include the other but you don't seem to understand that- if I say "Trell sucks", it doesn't include anyone else, it stands on its own.
Your logic is impeccable.

Rather than stir the pot in discussions about our political BS, why not do something to help your own country? While you might be doing that already, coming here and posting your bullshit doesn't help anyone but you, as a way to piss people off.
Ah yes, can't have uppity people speaking their mind, especially foreigners. And are former slaves descendants really Americans?

Replies based on facts is also something you take very badly when ranting about some stuff. Facts and truth pisses MAGA dudes of royally, for some reason.

You're not going to defend Trump but yet you do, again, again, again, .... And then you whine about us pointing that out.

For all of your claiming 'Whataboutism!", you do it frequently, as in your "

You should try read my post again, after taking a remedial reading course or two.

Some of them, "like another member here" ;), tries to be "subtle" and failing miserably. Instead of taking that in stride they whine like bitches attempting to yet again play the xenophobe card. Still failing.
