nice center speaker stand :)

HeHe. Thanks. I didn't know where else to put it so I threw that stand together from a couple pipes and a 1x6 piece of pine. Not the prettiest thing, but it gets the job done.

Looks fine in your pic. Nice job Vart!
I too had to make my center channel stand cause my center is 60+lbs and 15" deep. Probably wouldn't fit on top of ANY new tv, especially a rear projection LCD or DLP display, nor do any center speaker stands come that big that I could find. I spent two weekends on it, it would support MY weight if it had to, and I think it matches all my Bell'O A/V stands nicely. It's fun to make something for your A/V set up & it work & look like you want it. I'd would have made all my a/v racks if I had the time.

It looks OK. It sags in the middle, and the "bases" look kind of silly. Like you I didn't want the weight, nor would it fit, on top of my TV.

Have any pics of your stand?

No, I don't have a digital camera, not even one on my cell phone (I must be in the dark ages...).

Vart, What do you think of those Wharfedale One-Six's?

I have 3 up the front and they've served me well.

For the price I paid at the time, I think they are hard to beat. Good overall response. I'm not too crazy about the looks of the tweeter on top, and the grills break way too easily, but overall they are a great speaker.

JBL home cinema multi array

Hear are few pictures that where taken last year and throughout the year to the present day starting from the top and working its way downwards.

You may notice the slight transformation from the fronts, and I’m pretty quick at re-plugging the sound system for different occasions.

The five JBL, control 5 are the perfect choice for a small room and with matching fronts where timber matching is paramount for dialogue panning to sound effects and musical imaging as well.

From three-screen to five-screen array to a height centre channel.

The wider shot shows all the fronts sub bass extension, and sub bass for the LFE.1 exclusive.

The multiple array of JBL Control 1 surrounds demonstrates the that even a small room benefits with equal surround converge from the middle of the room to the sides to the back part, there is a surround imaging that will wash over you without compromise.

There’s more to come later with a separate thread.

I think you need more power...

My 120 w receiver in a 20 x 10 ft room watching War of the Worlds (when the first pod comes up from the ground) makes my dogs run and ears ring after 10 minutes at -15 on the volume readout (there's 25 to db to go). I can't even image...
