I don't have these speakers yet, but I am going to be purchasing them soon. I am moving out of an apartment and into a house:) , so I finally get to have a dedicated HT room:D . The room is rectangular. I haven't moved in yet so I can place them anywhere I want. Should I go directly to the side of the me, or slightly behind? Any tips would help. Thanks.

They should be directly to your side or to your side and slightly behind the listening position (an angle between 90 and 110 degrees). They should NOT be directly behind you unless of course they are being used as the rear surrounds in a 7.1 configuration.
