Funnychap, you obviously didn't watch the podcast. All that was discussed, admitted to and supposedly to be addressed. Regardless I see your point, but I'm 16 years older than you and I have no plans to give up my 92# mono blocks just yet ...... ;) I've just bought the PS Audio FR5 speakers, so I'm pretty much at my endgame, except for maybe a highend preamp to replace my Parasound 2100 (I'm now hesistant to upgrade $3.5k-$4k because it's not going to sound that much of a difference as speakers). The manufacturers should be asking audiophiles 55 and younger to maybe 35 (or whatever age that they start having disposable income and time, I didn't have it until late 40s when daycare expenses ended and kids' club sports ended) what they want if they're not at their endgame system yet.
