I must chime in.
My Onkyo TX-RZ 70 has a problem in its DLBC implementation (I bought a license appr. 2 (?) month ago at the already reduced rate): It provides to much bass. I used as a measurement mike the UMIK-1 and the most current PC version of Dirac live (Version 3.13.2). Everything sounds just fine, when measuring. For filtering I used a +10db Harman target curve as suggested by the Dirac Support. But when listening to the outcome it now has to much bass, overloading both active Nubert subwoofers, which use a vertical double arrangement of 20cm bass drivers (Nubert AW-1300 DSP). The onboard DSP ist deactivated, every correction is been done by the most current version of Dirac Live. All measurements were within the given specification, even the sub. I use a 7.2.4 speaker arrangement, the height speakers (KEF) are configured as Front Height, the back height speakers are configured as Top Height, because they are "built in" into the ceiling of the living room. The living room has about 50 square meters, the listening area is about 20 square meters. The seating positions are along the rear wall where the sofa is located... 9 positions were used for measuring.
I already reduced each subwoofer output by almost 3.5 - 4 db, but it is still overwhelming. My wife is complaining about the bass output.
