Bass Connection's "Bass Heaven"
Thumpin' really well...
An MP3 was floating around from Bassotronics. That's got some serious bass down to 11Hz. That's been my best bass demo yet.Bass Connection's "Bass Heaven"Thumpin' really well...
I got the white album and love the sound. On the quieter songs, like Blackbird, you can hear the breath in Paul's voice. Also the bass lines are conspicuous in a way they never have been before. Sometimes the stereo separation goes a little too far but it's so much better than any previous mix that it's like a new album. The Beatles Stereo remasters. Done with Please Please Me and With the Beatles. Very impressed!
Wish they were multi-channel SACD's however.

I bought the Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper's remasters and noticed the prominent bass in those albums as well. Not overbearing, mind you. I liked it because Pauls's playing is fantasic! I had never appreciated his skills as much before, probably because the quality of the bass in previous versions of the recordings wasn't as good.I got the white album and love the sound. Funny story about "45"... friends went on a road trip down to Palm Springs this summer, and this song became a favorite, for laughing at how strained the vocals are.B you are too funny..............![]()
