What is your expectation, hope, desire, or intent with these two devices? Odds are good that both devices are Chromecast receiving devices, not transmitters. So, you can't likely go from the Lenovo to the Pioneer or vice-versa. While Lenovo advertises it as being able to just 'work' to send stuff to your TV, that's NOT really how Chromecast works and it shouldn't be expected to work well. Wireless sucks. It's a myth. It's BS. If the product isn't working between the Pioneer and the Lenovo, then it's quite likely some sort of firmware mismatch or other incompatibility, and emphasizes how unreliable wireless, especially Chromecast, can be. Unfortunately the answer is that you can not connect those two devices. You need a standard TV to connect to that receiver. The receiver will need speakers.

I think the Pioneer is already connected to a TV and that he may be trying to mirror (cast) from the Lenovo to the Pioneer for playback on the TV. This is a listed feature of the Lenovo. It's supposed to be able to broadcast over Chromecast to display on a Chromecast receiving device, like what is built into the Pioneer. I'm not sure if this feature was tested by anyone on the reviews of the Lenovo that I saw. At first I also thought he was trying to connect the Pioneer to the Lenovo, but I think it is the other way. It just meant it didn’t need to be added to Google Home as a Chromecast device and it just worked and showed up in the Google Home app when on the same network as the app device. Unfortunately, it can only receive and play audio signals from a casting device. To get audio signals from the Lenovo Smart Display to the receiver and video signals to a connected TV, the Lenovo Smart Display would need to cast them directly to a Smart TV supporting Chromecast and then use a wired connection from the TV to the receiver for audio output from the receiver. I believe the TV and even any streaming services to be used between it and the Smart Display would need to be set up in the Google Home app. As was mentioned, the receiver can only accept chromecast signals and cannot cast audio/video signals it receives from any type of connected device to another Chromecast device such as the Lenovo Smart Display.
