Steelers gave up almost nothing to acquire Russel Wilson and Justin Fields to replace Kenny Pickett and his backups. We shall see how this plays out.

2020 was Saints last post season game. Truth be known fans have no confidence in Dennis Allen either.

According to the talking heads Media, their 1st pick at #14 was Offensive lineman. Consensus was he's the best in the draft immediate starter. #2nd pick in the #2nd round CB from Alabama. Supposed to have elite speed, plus they're saying probably give Marshawn Lattimore a run for his money. Than they took a QB, again saying probably be Derek Carr's back up. Media heads gave the Saints a A rated some give B.

Sounds like a good draft, but the truth is A LOT of teams are struggling in the qb position. The boggling one to me was Carolina picking Bryce Young over Stroud. After the latter lit up Georgia in the semis (in a loss) that was a no-brainer to me.

The Media heads are projecting the Saints to win around 7.5 games this season. Same as last season, and Saints pulled a rabbit out of the hat and pulled off 9 wins. They have games against, 8 post season teams from last season. So maybe another 9-8 season, The offensive line is still a big question mark, lost Andreas Peat to the Raiders, Travis Pinnon, 1st pick from 2022 draft didn't work out as a left side tackle. Probably will be moved to his right guard position that he played in college because of Peats absence now.

Atlanta more than likely will win the division, at about 11 wins, Bucs will take a step back 9 wins, may make post season. Saints and the Panthers will be fighting to stay out of the bottom of the division.

Looks like the Steelers are going into training camp and see what they have with the WRs in house. I still wish they would have picked up a proven vet.

NFL, released the schedule for 2024. There will be many games that fans will have to pay a streaming service. NFL has gone the way of Pay per view kind of. I will not Subscribe to all of different services just to watch the games I want to watch. Looks like Net radio is on the menu! While many will buy into the greed I won't. I subscribed to streaming services last year to watch two games that the Saints were on, not this year though. Too many streaming service have jumped on the bandwagon of broadcasting NFL games. As this long life fan won't be.

Saints/Atlanta Falcons, supposed to have the easiest schedule, I don't see that for the Saints. They have to play 8 teams that were in the playoffs last season. Considering the offensive line issues they have yeah 7-10 looks to be a realistic take. Defensive line has a big question mark also. I don't believe their Defense will be even in the middle of the pack this year. I believe they'll take a step back age wise catching up with the defense.

I did NFL+ I believe. Think it has the odd early Sat and/or Sunday game. Maybe $10 per month tops. Otherwise it will be edited highlights and Sunday major broadcast. Think they did away with Monday and Thursday TV access too. Pay for play now.

I mean I get it, NFL is for profit business. There is the Sunday Ticket. but out the gate it's hundreds. Now as the season progresses price comes down. I don't just watch my home team Saint, there are several teams I'm interested in, and I will still watch the game.

I'm a fan of the sport first. But the way the NFL cut deals and sold the rights to broadcast to all the different streamers, one is almost better off subscribing to the Sunday ticket. There's one streaming service that picked up some post season games also. The good old days are gone now were ABC had all of the Monday night games and CBS and FOX aired all the rest. I saw this coming when the cable cutting started a few years back. Cable service providers has to pay for the broadcasts rights to the NFL and pay over the air channels that carried the games.

So Cable and NFL started losing revenue, with all of the different streaming services now which are very lucrative for both.

According to the media guys talking heads, most homes have up to 4 steam services at a time. Back in old days there was this analogy watching the NFL, on the weekend was considered a poor man's weekend not anymore. Also Going to the N F L game to watch in person ticket prices have become outrageous.

Last game I went to at the Dome in New Orleans for 5 Adults and a grandson cost over 3K +. We sat at the 32nd row of the bottom seats between the 30/20 yard mark $480 for each ticket. That was back in 2019, Saints were playing Arizona Cardinals.
