There has been mention of the X3400 and X4400 to replace the X3300.
The site that I linked too is for the X3400.
https://www.zaxaudiovideo.com/products/denon-avr-x3400h-in-command-7-2-channel-home-theater-receiver-with-wi-fi-dolby-atmos-dts-x-and-heos?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1ab23pGs2QIVnbrACh3bTQ8nEAYYBSABEgKDGfD_BwE

I'm going to try and have my wife do it. Maybe they will price match for a women. Worth a shot.
No one would give you a X4400H even if the X3300W and X3400H are out of stock. If they agree to price match the place you linked for a X3400H, consider yourself lucky. There is no harm trying, just tell them you think that place is an authorized dealer too because their website does say "Manufacturer Term Length Warranty".

Maybe they will price match for a women. Worth a shot.
Good idea, but you may have to agree to share the potential savings.:D:D

Pretty soon the new models (X3500) will arrive anyway. So the X3400 will probably be $599 by Summer. :D

3600's coming too, then the 3500 would go for 599, sounds like you are quoting an infinite series.

Sorry for not replying sooner. I got hit with the flu and have been out of it since Saturday afternoon.

I checked the link to zax audio and video and it says page not found now. I'm going to keep a look out for that or when the X3300 is out of stock at electronics expo.

Hello,

I just saw walmart has the X3300W for $599. Do you think Amazon would price match to $599?

$599

$649

The item is sold out on walmarts site so I'm not sure if that would effect it. They both look like they are brand new.

My wife won a Amazon gift card for $100 and she said I can use it to help buy the receiver. Thanks

I doubt Amazon will price match anyone. But the price in the X3300 goes up and down all the time. Just keep an eye. It could be back down to $599 the next few days.

Thank you AcuDefTechGuy. I appreciate everyone's help.

Not sure if I should start another thread or not but should I buy some fans to add to the outside of the receiver? If so which ones would be good for this model AVR?

Thank you. Can I use these on the back or side of my new receiver? The clearing won't be enough on the top because of the shelf above it.
They're more intended to be on top and if your space is so narrow as to not even allow a 1" height fan (some need more, think 1" is the shortest I've found), maybe think about a new spot for the receiver? Otherwise I'd imagine you could probably get sufficient airflow with other placement but haven't tried it on the sides....

Yeah, all my fans are placed atop the AVRs to pull air up.

This works extremely well. My AVRs are always cool with dual AC Infinity 120mm fans atop.

The ventilation holes are on top of the AVR, not in the rear.

These are the fans I use. They cost $20 for 2 x 120 mm fans.

You need to find a place that allows at least 2" above the AVR.

What is your setup look like? TV stand? Audio Rack? Cabinets?

I have tv stand that has a bar going up the back to hold my flat screen tv so I didn't have to mount it to the wall. I just setup the receiver late last night and there is barely any space between the receiver and the shelf above it. I can't put it on the top because it would block the tv from moving around. I guess I might have to mount it to a wall and use a different shelf I have. It's a 55 inch samsung tv. I need to find a good wall mount on sale.

Either a wall mount or a TV stand that has 12" shelves. :D

Doesn't your TV have some kind of footing to stand on a shelf by itself without a mount?

I custom-built my TV stand, so I made the bottom shelves 12".

And my 65" SONY TV can be placed right on top of the TV stand without any kind of mount.

Good call. I think there is a stand for it. I just have to check how tall the shelves are underneath. I was going to put the receiver on the top shelf. I will try that out tonight when I get home.

I did find some pretty cheap wall mounts that are around $50-70 that would work great. I found a ceiling mount that would work as well.

Thank you
