New Sonos Move

Does anyone know when the new Sonos Move will be released and what the changes will be? Saw online it was supposed to be available sometime this year. The Move just went on sale for 25% off and wonder if that means the new model is coming soon and they want to sell off or “move” their existing inventory.

Sonos just announced the Move 2 will be available September 20. $449 so $49 more but hopefully will have Black Friday deals. Improved battery life, 2 tweeters and more control over the voice controls and a line-in and ability to charge with the line-in and detachable cord on the charging ring. Looking forward to upcoming sound comparison reviews.

Sonos just sent through an update to their app. Looks like it’s a patch to rectify some of the issues with their previous update that came out recently. Easier to use Qobuz like it was prior to the previous update.

Just ordered a Move 2 in black through Best Buy. I’ve been waiting since their launch for a sale and Sonos is having a sale through their site and distributors and there was an open-box pair for $300 US, so 33% off. Ordered the Sanus wall-mount stand at a discount so I can listen while it’s connected to the charger. My current Move is my favorite portable Bluetooth speaker. Hoping this one sounds even better. You can pair two together but hoping with the dual tweeters and the room-filling sound I’ve experienced I can have stereo sound with just one.
