New site live??

Looks like Gamma went live! More annoying than the ads are the intelli-text pop-ups that keep popping up when I move my mouse around the page

Overall, it's nice...didn't expect the site to go live this soon though!

There's only 2 IntelliTXT ads per page allowed - but yeah, they always appear where the mouse is, lol. We actually get a LOT of money for those so it's a hard thing to get rid of.

Funny bug: In the initial caching of the site, someone with Spanish default language hit an area of the site first, so everyone would see one particular page with Spanish language for the hard-coded stuff (not the content, but the CMS-generated stuff). We're altering how that works... lol.

Let me know your impressions on the speed. Seems pretty snappy for the first time... of course, we're now load-balancing across 3 servers (not including the forums or ads which are on a dedicated server).

The only problem I have seen so far is that the Audioholics logo at the top of the forums is a red X.

The site is just as fast as ever before and it looks great! Good work!

Well I don't know what you guys did but, the flags are all gone. Thanks. Now what about cost of "exclusive" membership? I want a T-shirt, signed photo 8-1/2 X 11 of the elusive cabal of enlightened wise men of Audioholics, maybe stickers for my kid, 4 tickets to the super bowl or round trip tickets to Canada with passes to Sheep's home theater. Can you work that in? Or if not how about a BBQ at your house?

Speed seems to be fine! Thanks for limiting the intelli text Clint!! It really is one of my pet-peeves because even when you scroll the page the little buggers seem to come running towards the mouse!

Absolutely, but the dang fee just went up to $36,000/year... lol.

I had to move the image for the forums - thanks for catching that. Gene caught it too... Actually, Gene has a knack for catching even the most obscure stuff - finding a needle in a haystack is what he does before breakfast... pah, baby stuff.

[Edit: It's the round trip to Sheep's house that did it - the licensing fees were astronomic... made the Superbowl tickets seem like child's play in comparison. - Clint.]

Well I was planning on buying the G-35 coupe, price is a little more, but I guess the T-Shirt would be worth it. Heck I'll tell the wife to write up the check, I mean you only go around once, right?
