Thanks, Just smoked my receiver. I'll have to get it fixed so I can hear the speakers. Stil haven't got a sub. I spent more on the 7 speakers than planned. I wanted to spend $5000 on everything. I spent $4000. I could settle for a sub at about $1000. The HSU get good reveiws on this forum, or I can wait while and save money. When the receiver gets fixed I will talk about the speakers. I hope they can compete with the Bose that I replaced..
Thats a joke for all the audiophiles, but I did replace an acostimass system!

Onix also has a couple new subs that they are coming out with. You could then take advantage of the "family discount".

A pair of MFW-15 will run you $900.

Or the upcoming BMF-1 designed by Mark Seaton for Onix.

Drivers: All custom. One 15" active with three 18" passive radiators

Amplifier: 1000 watts

Performance: Significant output into the teens (Hz) and very low distortion

Cabinet: Typical excellent AV123 build quality. Well braced. Choice of real wood veneers (list coming soon). The cabinet will take the shape similar to our Rocket RS850 Signature Loudspeakers. This looks elegant as well as minimizes visual impact as this is no tiny sub

Dims: 25" high x 22" x wide x 30" deep (approximate!)

Weight: Final weight unknown as of this writing. Expect around 200lbs shipped.
