Guys I’ve got a new idea . I am a big fan of Anthem , and they have a sale on right now .
I’m thinking about buying their AMV70 processor , and using the Cambridge receiver as the amplifier.The Cambridge cxa80 does have an XLR balanced input , so I could set it to direct which would bypass treble/base etc ,but I’d have another volume control to contend with . I’m assuming using its balanced inputs bypasses its internal DAC?
I feel this may be an option instead of discarding a basically new amplifier ,at least for now .
