you didn't get the denon amp? or did i miss it on the pics?

but still ... /me faints.

I love this guy.:D He has my name, he has a legacy LD player (one of the nice ones), a D-VHS player (one of the nice ones), two Blu-ray players (one of them isn't going to see much use for Blu-rays in that system:D), and a HD DVD player. YOU HAVE EVERYTHING!!!:D

Then there's me, with my Insignia/Sherwood receiver, Magnavox CDB-650, PS3, and Infinity IL10 bookshelf speakers, very very classy stuff.:D

Fantastic looking (and I'm sure sounding) system Seth, well done! I don't know how I missed this one but as many have said, simply incredible down to the racks and wiring.

Are you running an ML sub(s)?

Thanks for posting the pics, very

Thanks for the kind words.:)

Yes I am running an ML sub (Descent), and a non ML sub (ADS MS3).

Very nice stuff there! Does the Dolby True HD seem better than the Dolby Digital?

Thanks.:)

Dolby TrueHD is definitely a step above standard Dolby Digital. The sound presentation is more dynamic, more detailed, directionals more pronounced, and LFE is more powerful.

No I didn't get the matching 10 channel amp. I could have, but I already own 2 excellent amps and already have 10 channels of amplification. So I decided not to get the Denon amp as there was no need to.

Too cool that we have the same names.:)

All i can say is wow!!!

Thanks.;)

Truly fabulous. You remind me of Sleestack; you guys always have all the latest killer stuff.
Hey, I was wondering -- I test drove the 2500 BTCI in my home for a couple of days and I couldn't get it to shake hands with my display in 24hz mode.

Lemme guess, you have no such issues

Anyhoo, nothing else to add that the other members haven't already said; great looking set up...
Now where is the >jealous, I want to kill you and take all your stuff< emoticon?

:D

Thank you.:)

So far I am loving my 2500BTCI!:D I haven't had any problems with it at all. It's whisper quiet, delivers a gorgeous picture and stunning lossless sound. I have it setup to output 1080p/60 as my Sony 70XBR2 is only 1080p/60, so I'm not sure what it will do with 1080p/24 if my TV was so capable.

Seconded. I've only been into AV for about 4-5 years now, but I've been to countless homes with ridiculous HT set-ups and seen my fair share of goodies. But I honestly think I could not set foot in there... I feel as if it would become one of those Wayne and Garth moments the second the THX Demo fires up..

"WE'RE NOT WORTHY! WE'RE NOT WORTHY!" :D

Thank you very much for that wonderful compliment.;)

flip me... im looking at buy a new sub and this thread came up in the results, dang, thats pretty impressive! probabaly my fav system on this forum so far in fact

I'm floored! If I ever walked through your home you'd never get me to leave your theater. I'd just move in and sleep next to the equipment rack. ;)

Do you use the ADS MS3 subwoofer or run the Martins full range?

:D Thanks.

I run the Mains (reQuests) full range and use both subs (ML Descent and ADS MS3). While my Descent sub is an amazing performer, the ADS holds its own. I have been using that sub for well over 10 years and have no plans on replacing it. It's a potent sucker! ADS made some awesome subs.

Well I've made some big changes to my setup. I replaced my Sunfire TGIII pre/pro with Denon's new AVP-A1HDCI pre/pro and added a Denon 2500BTCI Blu-ray transport.

Here's some pix.

Not only is it HD, but it's HD in style dude! Seriously nice set-up, especially with the new Denon equipment.

You know I knew I'd be hooked on HD, but I've now gotten so spoiled with it that I no longer buy standard DVD's anymore. So if there is something out on DVD that I really want that is not available on Blu-ray, I'll just wait until it does get released on Blu-ray. I have like 1,700 DVD's and man I sure wish they were HD.:) With the up-conversion the Denon AVP's Realta does with DVD, it actually looks pretty darn good. But there's nothing quite like a true 1080p HD picture.:D

I have been very impressed with the Denon pre/pro and Blu-ray Transport.
