W wicked Audioholic Intern Sep 3, 2007 26 0 0 Sep 26, 2007 #7 hey guys, thanks for the compliments. the light is just for cosmetics and does have an on off switch. its almost always off. i turn it on at night to listen to the radio, like a night light. its just relaxing to me. it also has a red neon in it to change colors from time to time. and i agree, im sure it would be distracting with regular tv viewing. in any case, the light is always of and the sub is never exposed. a panel goes over the window and nothing is shown. my home theater room. http://www.flickr.com/photos/wicked_photos/
