Good for a conversation piece, but I would think that it is a tad distracting.

Nice system, wicked. I second major in that the sub looks cool lit up like that. Hopefully you can turn the lighting on and off, but it is a cool effect!

hey guys, thanks for the compliments. the light is just for cosmetics and does have an on off switch. its almost always off. i turn it on at night to listen to the radio, like a night light. its just relaxing to me. it also has a red neon in it to change colors from time to time. and i agree, im sure it would be distracting with regular tv viewing. in any case, the light is always of and the sub is never exposed. a panel goes over the window and nothing is shown.
