I thought it was actually very charming! Clever writing and good humor. I think it's a fun watch.

Okay, this is not technically so bad it's good, but it does fit with some of the other suggestions in that it's very low budget, well written with an interesting plot and a twist ending. I just watched it again last night and it still holds up for me.

There's a sequel. One that shouldn't have been made, lol. It fails to recapture what made the original so interesting and compellng. The first is really, really interesting tho. Once it starts rolling you're hooked and can't wait to see what he says next.

I think I wiki'd it for some reason awhile back, and it did sound interesting. Something about the man not being who he said he was, and I remember some sort of twist to it as well. I'll have to check it out. Available to stream somewhere?

I found it either on Prime or Nutflex. It's been a while since I looked. I watched it on a shared Plex account last night.

Me too, and I was genuinely surprised when they revealed the twist at the end. I'd like to see more of the main character, and they did make a sequel but I read that it's not very good and I haven't seen it. Based on reviews they pretty much go off the rails and has none of the charm and cleverness of the original.

Man From Earth is one of my perennial favorites. I also made the mistake of watching the sequel. That was just bad. I don't think the original was bad. It didn't need a big budget for what it was trying to do.

I just looked and both the original are on Prime, free to stream. What's funny, when I looked for the movie, it said continue watching. I must have went looking for it when I first read about, watched the first couple of minutes and then forgot about it.

I just watched an older budget Australian zombie flick. Lousy critic ratings, but good audience ratings so I gave it a shot. I liked it actually, pretty fun for the genre. Only heard about it because there is a sequel this year.
