I'll post a better review with pics of the enclosures when I make the cuts for the subs and terminals.;)
Great-as many of us are looking forwards to it. Right now though, you have your hands full. So, no real big hurry. Your daughter is much more important. BTW, my niece just had a baby boy the other day and her twin sister is due anytime.:eek: Needless to say, it has been real fun here! ;);)

Cheers,

Phil

Ok, thanks to Ottomatic and Mike I got my DS12 sub up and running with the EP2500. Still some issues to tackle but I need take a break before I start throwing things.;) I do need to upgrade my amp capacity to this room.

My initial impressions are very good so far. This sealed sub is surpassing my expectations when trying to compare it to my dual HSU setup. Can't wait to get the other one up and running, just waiting on some binding posts to show up.

Don't mind the room, some drilling of the enclosures was done in there so it's dusty and the the floors a mess.

CaliHP thread reminded me to take pics of my DVD collection and the new Atlantic racks I got for it.

Here's a pic with both drivers in the boxes. Waiting on a XLR Y-cable to run both inputs on the amp.

My first "completed" DIY sub, I need to wipe it down still. 1cu/ft-ish:p sealed enclosure using 3/4" MDF and no internal bracing. Treo TSI 12" sub and 300watt Bash plate amp. I covered it in some black auto carpet I had laying around to hide my shoddy cuts.;)

Hey whats up fellas. Not sure how much room you have in the REAR of the room you have there.. but the best thing I did to my HT, was to move all the gear to the BACK of the room. One of the unspoken pieces to picture quality, is minimizing objects that distract from the picture, which includes lights from components, nicknacks, doodads, and cables.

Anyway... just a suggestion... lookin good!

I have no space in the back of my room unless I push the seats forward. Then I'll be sitting 7-8' away from a 92" screen. Hopefully when I move I can arrange the component out of the line of sight.

Well I was going to fire up my two subs now that the XLR Y-connector showed up today but I'm having PS3 issues. I bought a PS3 Blu-Ray remote but it looks like I can't pair them up without using a regular controller. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have it all straighten out. I have Hancock, Wanted, Kung-Fu Panda and Indiana Jones all on BD to watch.

A little change up out of necessity. Going to put the house on the market in the next couple of months so the theater room is going to be converted back to a spare bedroom. Once the WmAx speakers arrive they'll go in the spare bedroom for critical listening until we move.

Couple changes to the setup include the new Yamaha 663 and the LPA-7.

some sort of absorber in between the EP2500 and sub would be the next step :)
