Nothing happening with the room today, waiting on some more orders to show up.

I'm actually installing some parts on the car today, motor mounts and swaybars.

Turn your posters into NXT flat panels, then you won't need the surrounds.:D

Here is a pic of my temporary setup. The extra shelf I ordered from racksandstands.com is on backorder so I put the receiver and DVD player underneath so I had a place to set the center channel. When the shelf comes in it should place the all the tweeters in the front sound stage within a couple inches of each other.

I also purchased a BPA-1 amplifier and will be using it to power the mains, will report more on that when it shows up.

Yes the paint is wet, filled in the holes left by the old shelf and touch up some other spots.

Still waiting on the techflex and IR repeater to show up.

Trying the X-series out on some different music right now, obviously not as forward as the BIC acoutsechs.

From the floor to the bottom of the screen(not the black border) is approx 27".

The screen is what is called "Do-able products Inc Model# 63036" that I picked up from Home Depot for about $15. It's untreated and works great as is, there was a 30 page thread on AVS about it awhile ago.

92" diagonal

The chairs are about 11-12 feet from the screen, room is only 15ft long.

Xantech IR repeater sensor

I picked up a Lutron IR remote dimmer switch so I can control the lighting with the 880. Going to set it to dim when I hit the "watch a movie" activity button and then turn all the way off when I press play.

I'm almost done with the room. Only other project I need to get started on is a hush-box for the projector. Equipment wise, I'm waiting on a BPA-1 amp and SMS-1 EQ to finish off the equipment(for now). Last but certainly not least I'm going to get new carpet.

I'll take better pictures tomorrow, I ran out of daylight and can't for the life of me take low-light pictures.

Hey Matt.

I grabbed a set of those same speaker stands (in oak) off ebay for my office speakers. They're a good value, I think.

But you're right. You could use some photog lessons. ;)
