This space used to be a garage and a rec room. I have completely wired the FR for 7.1 and installed 4 20A outlets where my HT is going to live. This is what it looked like about 3/4 of the way through, there were only 2 windows down here so any windows you see, I knocked the holes with a sledge, and then framed in windows. This is me installing the 10" I beam that is holding up the house, I wanted to remove all of the load bearing walls so I could open the place up. This beam weighs approx 730lbs. I had to put 2 of them up, one on each side of the house. Almost up! Finishing up the last of the framing Now most of the drywall is done and we are going to be painting this week. I just need to learn how to do the texture on the ceiling! Here is where the kitchen is going to be. I plan on having this done so we can have our Thanksgiving Dinner in the new area.

I have done everything myself. I had a couple of friends come over to help me do the drywall taping, and the wife helps out by cleaning up the tools and stuff, but other than that it's a one man wrecking/building crew.
