Is titanium what they use by default for your procedure?
I ask because a friend recently had to get pins in her knee after a motorcycle accident and she is allergic to nickel so got to get titanium instead.
So, are you going to change your name to "bionicspeakerman39"?

Funny that you mention the Six Million Dollar Man. That was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid. Really liked the BIG Foot additions as well. Of course, we can't leave out the 7-Million Dollar Man either.......LOL!!!!

The surgeon told me it was titanium. So, that is all I know. Of course, he also mentioned screws as well albeit 4 per plate. The surgeon also said he could go in the back of my neck, but I would have more complications and a longer recovery period. As such, I agreed on the front-side. Just hope that I don't chicken out as I am a bit stressed. However, the surgeon claims to have done thousands of these types of procedures.
