Let's Start A List Of The Best Dts

How about a movie that has an exceptional soundtrack in that the music is perfect. Soundwise, the dialogue is crystal clean and even has a surprising amount of LFE. Besides having an excellent DTS soundtrack it is a movie that I consider to be head and shoulders better than anything on the list so far. In fact I think it is one of the most perfect movies I've seen.

American Beauty

A movie that is so wonderfully funny, brilliantly written, acted and directed that the outstanding soundtrack can sometimes be unnoticed.

Though M&C was great, I wouldn't list that in the top 10, since it is basically just one scene. Criteria should be the movie overall, IMO.

That's exactly where this movie's soundtrack excells: overall excellence. It's a refference track that others are measured to.The entire movie.

Master & Commander and U571 in that order. The use of sound effects were spectacular and surreal. All others after that are ..well... just Dolby Digital

Anyone know if there is a dts version of Braveheart available in the U.S? I first saw this movie in the theaters and it was in dts. The movie was thoroughly engaging and the dts sound mix had a lot to do with it.
