Let’s start a list of the best DTS movie you ever played on you're HiFi system.
I'm going to start by saying this movie made me hide behind my sofa when the cannons went off, sounded almost too real!!!

You already listed my #1- So I will go with the DTS-ES version of Top Gun, [we aren't talkin' about movie qaulity I assume], the opening scene with the carrier- the music and jets....turn it up. Maybe I'm choosing this one cause I just went to the Dayton Airshow and it comes to mind.

Though M&C was great, I wouldn't list that in the top 10, since it is basically just one scene. Criteria should be the movie overall, IMO.

Gladiator and Blade II would be at the top of my list, followed by Se7en:SE and The Haunting.

Hero. It's the best one I've got in my collection, and the only one that shows an easily noticable improvement over the Dolby Digital track.

Hero is great in dts. The US version of HoFD does not include the dts track, but either the R2 or R3 version does. On the US version though, if you watch the Chinese dialogue version, it sounds much better than the English dub. For CTHD, only the Superbit has the Chinese dts track in the US.

The Haunting was the first DTS-ES movie ever done.

12 Monkeys DTS is pretty good.

I'm not gonna rate mine because I cannot remember for the life of me which ones have it.

Dario Argento's Opera in DTS is pretty good, especially considering its age.

More to Master and Commander

Though M&C was great, I wouldn't list that in the top 10, since it is basically just one scene. Criteria should be the movie overall, IMO.

I really felt that the overall soundtrack to M & C had great sound effects. The subtle effect of water all around the boat and the creaking of the decks, all those effects made me feel like I was on a ship. Yes, certainly the battle scenes are the show off scenes for anyones sound system, but it was the subtler effects that really show off a great home theater.
