Just watched Stir of Echoes last night, I have both versions DTS es and non DTS..........WOW what a big difference

Ummm, as far as I know, there is no DTS-ES or even a DTS version of The Incredibles. DD-EX yes, DTS no.

Here is the link that I think The Incredibles in DTS-EX version or is it only Soundmix? BTW, is DTS-EX soundmix different DTS-EX version?

The Region 1 US release of The Incredibles is in DD EX no DTS track is present (As others have said), there is however a very excellent DTS ES track on the 10th Anniversary Edition of Toy Story. You should also add the DTS versions of Water World and Jurassic Park to the list.

Yep. There ARE two flavors of DTS-ES though, Matrix and Discrete. Matrix works the same as DD-EX, the 6th channel information is matrixed into the R&L surround channels and is extracted during the decoding. Discrete is decoded in much the same way AFAIK, however the extra channel is recorded and encoded as a completely separate (discrete) channel.

I completely agree. While a list of all DTS movies is interesting, it has surely been done (like oh, say, here). I thought this was a list of everyone's favorite DTS titles.

Was Blade II that good in DTS? I saw it in the theatre when it came out, it didn't leave the impact in my memory, that I needed to get this form the HT when it came out?

I'd have a separate thread for the All list, and keep this one just favorites.

mpompey - BladeII in DTS-ES is great. I saw it in the theater too...The sound is actually my favorite part of that disc, IMO. I enjoyed the movie too though.
