yeah, but you don't tend to find specialized boots like that in a size 15. :)

Try Kastinger. I have a pair for Randonee. They mate well with my Silveretta 404s and most snowboard hard bindings are similar. If not Kastinger, try Raichle, they make one of the best Randonee/snowboard boots too.

Can't find anything on Kastinger. Raichle doesn't seem to be long enough. (They only seem to come up to 14)

Besides...my colombia snow boots are good for me. :)

Heh. we actually got snow on christmas day last year. First time I'd seen snow in about a decade. And now, I'll be in Calgary in Feb.

So I guess I'll get my fill of it. :) (good thing cold don't tend to bother me)

Now if I can just afford some Flames tickets................................

Hmmm, are you in the Oil business by chance? :D

Anyway, Calgary in February can be an interesting place, anywhere from -35C to + 16C, it all depends on whether a Chinook is blowing at the time...

As for the Flames tickets, I can't help, too expensive for me as well unless I get some corporate tickets from some of my other oil patch buddys.

Winters in the Detroit area have gotten wimpy over the last 20 years or so, at least snow-wise. Seems that before then we could count on white on the ground from December thru March with at least one big school-closing storm per year. Then in the early 80s I started getting into winter sports...and there went the snow!

We have had some early snowfalls so far this year of an inch or so. There's about an inch on the ground now. Perhaps a harbinger of things to come? Maybe I should wax the XC skis?

Theres a little town called Nakusp in BC (bout an 8hour drive from here) where my grandparents live. 8 Feet of snow garanteed. :)

Heh. So bring a parka and a windbreaker...check. Hopefully it'll be like a mild -5C or -10C so we can go skiing or something. (yes...an american that understands C...shocking!)

Heh. Well, since my wife's dad works for Exxon, I'm hoping I can convince him to treat the whole family to a game. :evil grin:

LOL. I had a friend from BC (Bring Cash). She used to tell me that there was BC, some more land, and then Europe. 'Canada' didn't ring a bell with her. ;)

Okay...I took some pics tonight of Chez RJBUDZ. Lousy camera, lousy photographer....but here on is. I guess I can't upload multiples because of file size. Is there a way around that?

It's some of the prettiest country on the continent, IMHO. Well, that and the eastern slopes of the Sierra Mtns.
