That will make a nice rig.

Get the wire you need from mono price. Get the 12 AWG wire length you need.

You probably need the two wire as the speakers are spaced. Forget bi-wiring and bi-amping.

A good entry turntable is the U-Turn custom.

Order it in the color you want and with lift and Ortofon Red Cartridge.

If your receiver does not have an RIAA compensated phono input then you need to add a phono preamp.

That is about the best and lowest price entry rig that will give you good results.

Make sure you set those nice KEFs to large in the setup menu.
How does Audio Technica AT-LP120-USB turntable compare to the U turn custom. It's on sale for 180$.

The U-turn is the much better turntable. Turntables need to be simple but highly machined and engineered. The U Turn has a much better arm and cartridge and the better simpler belt drive. So the fidelity will be much better and much more compatible with the rest of your system.

The AT is basically a DJ turntable.

Curious, why do you want a turntable at all? Reviving an old record collection?

The AudioTechnicas aren't as bad as ol' TLS makes them out to be, he just doesn't like them. Still, it'd be better to go for the 240 model than the 120. Granted also they're just knock-offs of the Technics SL1200 series. For the money they both seem to have quite a few happy users, tho.

As you can see from my posts, I recently got into music and trying to setup all the different components. I am planning to listen to old Indian music/songs. I heard that it is best heard on Vinyl as there is no compression. So wanted to get into turntables.. I do not have any collection. I am going to India in December and may be will get some from there. Some of the music I am listening to now is from movie name Abhinandana, Sagara Sangamam(Telugu which is one of the regional languages in India from the state of Andhra Pradesh), Aashiqui and Aashiqui 2 to name some. The music director for the first two movies was voted in the top 10 in the world of all times and I am really liking his music. Thanks for asking.
