Also, I like to point out that the 590 is a very large tower. That may not matter, but it is about 50" tall and 13" wide and 16" deep. In a great room, it is an easy fit, but for an office or bedroom you might feel a bit intimidated!

Much better. Probably the 1st offering from the "consumer side" of JBL that I really liked until the new HDIs. Great dynamics and smooth to my ear.

The 590s do have a unique look....as do all the series 5. I'll likely not ever compare mine directly with Fluances (that would take some unique circumstances), but I'm betting on the JBL...
