Since it took them so long to get it to work, it'll be interesting to see how compatible and reliable they are for the end user cheers

I would not be an earlier adopter because they seem to have had some unexpected technical hurdles in bringing this technology to market. I mean they were talking about blue ray when I lived in Vegas at least four years ago. Ed

I mean, as it is, there are no Blu-ray discs from WB that use VC-1 encoding that are reported to look ANY different than their HD-DVD counterparts - so I am SURE you aren't lost on the first releases that Blu-ray put out. This site has been so good about avoiding people who get stuck on initial quality control issues. I'm personally excited to see what HD bonus features will be included and to see how well the full video transfer rate is utlized by Blu-ray studios. It seems like from day one BD50 discs were expected to be the norm and that their software was designed to maximize quality around that size. It will be interesting to see if quality actually IS improved upon from the newly improved high levels that have been delivered as of late. EDIT: As of 10/10 and the people who have 'CLICK!'
