I don't think I would leave it on for too long- that's petroleum-based and could cause the veneer to release from the substrate.
Thx. I didn't leave it on long. After I cleaned up my Cornwall center (it had counter-top formica crap on it, plus hardened glue that I chemically removed), I applied it to the raw birch and it really made it pop.

Probably! How in the heck I found just one CW, I'll never know. Whatever happened to the other one is a mystery. Wherever it is, it probably still looks like the Wreck of the Hesperus.

I found an Infinity RS-M at Goodwill. Do you think I can find another? It's as if every other single speaker of that model disappeared from the face of the Earth as soon as I paid for it. I can't even find a buyer for the parts.
