I bought these new about five years ago and have babied them. They are wiped down regularly and never pushed near their limits. I live in a non smoking condo and for that reason I do not play music or movies at high volume. Cosmetically I would say they are a 9.5 out of 10. They sound absolutely perfect. The only reason I am selling them is because I have just purchased a new pair of towers and have collected too many speakers over the years and I need the space. You will not be disappointed with these speakers. I listed them on ebay tonight with a starting bid of $389 which is what they are available to members for. Once I have any bids of course I will not be able to end my auction early. They really are like new. If you are near the San Diego area and might be interested just let me know. Haven't decided yet. I have a second pair of Beta 50's out in my garage. They belong to a friend of mine but he asked if he could store them there years ago. I'm considering taking my center and moving it to my man room along with his Beta 50's.
