All those here whining about Mexicans but not advocating something to change the situation must realize that putting up a thousand mile long impervious wall and spending billions and billions rounding them all up and deporting them isn't a viable solution. I guess you just like to whine.
I don't see you offering a solution. I just see you complaining. (or is that whining)

Or I just haven't gotten to them yet. Point out a couple and I'll be happy to respond to them.

You want an inane argument look no further than "JUST FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK." But he's on your side, so you don't care how dumb his argument is. Yeah, just fill out the paperwork, then spend 15 years waiting for a Visa number and spend an entire years worth of your salary on the fees.

JUST FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK. Great solution.

I haven't seen a whole lot of solutions from you Craig, so let's hear it. How do you fix it? All I've seen are *****ing about the evil mexicans, no rational arguments on something that could actually help the situation.
What would your solution be? Break the law? FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK FOOL!!!! Is that better?

So, you're saying that if it's too much effort to do it the legal way it's all right to become an illegal?
No, I'm saying that if it's extremely difficult, extremely time consuming, and extremely expensive, people ARE GOING TO BECOME ILLEGAL. This argument isn't about whats right and wrong, legal or illegal, it's about what's best for this country. The status quo obviously IS NOT WORKING.

She went through it and so did/do many others.
Presumably sponsored by him, since he won't elaborate on the situation, which takes the process from almost impossible to easymode.

Your argument is completely foolish.

And I have answered all the questions you put to me. You are the one who hasn't answered mine. "Have they at least tried?"

The solution is simple – anyone wanting to enter this country must do so legally. If that doesn’t suit you, read post #86 and put your money where your mouth is.

Your argument is completely foolish.
Your posts are completely worthless. Seriously. If you think my argument is completely foolish, then use your immense knowledge and vast debate skills to tear it apart. If all I did was respond to your posts in the same manner that you make them, this entire thread would be nothing more than an endless series of "are too!" "am not!" "are too!" posts.

Next time try thinking first, then making a post that actually has some content in it.

Good thing we live in a magical world where everyone is prevented from ever doing anything illegal. Great solution Craig. Very "real world."

I can see no one here is actually interested in discussing solutions to the problem, you just want to ***** about how evil mexicans are and how they're ruining everything, you don't want to talk about actually helping the situation.

By all means, continue your prejudice mexican bashing, I won't get in your way.

If your wife had the benefit of relatives or employer sponsership then you have no idea what's involved in getting a Visa if you DON'T have those things. If you think you do, go ahead and trot it out. Your "just fill out the forms" is bullcrap.
You did not address a single one of my points. All you did was say that I'm full of crap. And without any idea of who I am or what we went through. But you keep throughing around statements like I'm dumb or full of bull. Where are the points? Where is the logic? It's all just name calling with no facts or points.

So far, I see us making points and you doing the bashing. Your words do not match what's going on here in the least.

You haven't made any points to tear apart. All you have been doing is insulting people.

I was only sinking to your level. It won't happen again. But they really should fiil out the forms.

Find me a source that outlines a GUARANTEED SUCCESSFUL method for a mexican to immigrate to the US that doesn't have a relative or employee sponser. Until you do so you're just talking out your ***.
Saying "just fill out the paperwork" is DUMB. I'm sorry that you don't like that, but it's true. You're trivializing a process that can be so expensive and time consuming that for most potential immigrants that don't have a relative or work sponser, it might as well be impossible. That doesn't help your argument, it's BS.

Again with the entitlement attitude. IT IS NOT A RIGHT TO BE A UNITED STATES CITIZEN! It might be tough but something being difficult does not give them the right to trample our sovereignty as a nation.

Your the one defending their actions without justification besides it being difficult and time consuming. GMichael has lived it yet you have the audacity to tell him he doesn't know WTF he's talking about....myself and others have stated how and why we believe this is not good for our country. You seem to be the only one talking out of his forth point of contact.

Right now I can only assume by your statements here that an open border is what you ultimately support, no tracking of who or what is coming into this country. Every "immigrant" that demands it will get taxpayer backed health ins., housing, guaranteed job and education benefits. We will also have the states pay for their car insurance and driver license because they may not be able to afford those either. We can also provide them with a 401k plan but instead of having them contribute out of their own paycheck we will go ahead and fund it 100%.

We also can’t single out just the Mexicans, we will now mandate international charter flights to other third world countries so that whoever wishes to come to the U.S but can’t because large bodies of water interfere with their new founded rights as a U.S citizen.

Why should I? How do you figure I’m responsible for all that’s wrong in Mexico? Where is it written that I have to do anything to help the citizens of Mexico?

For that matter, when is the last time you did anything for their citizens? Have you ever made a monetary contribution, or put in volunteer hours to build a school or hospital. You are the one some inflamed & impassioned about doing something, why can’t you have the integrity to put actions beh9ind your words? And where is it written that everyone must agree with your viewpoints?

I actually do help folks in Mexico, but I don't wish to disclose it here as I view charity as a something to be done in secrecy.

There are many great people down there and just like every place in the world they have their bad apples.

I certainly would welcome anyone to come here legally.

Illegal Immigrants are being exploited by the same governments and people that claim to care about them.

First: The Mexican government allows them to leave their country, and treats them as if they are an exportable commodity.
Mexico then reaps the benefits when the millions of dollars are sent home.

Second: For many Republicans, illegal immigrants and imported labor are sources of cheap labor.

Third: For many Democrats, they are a cheap source of votes (from members of the extended family with citizenship or through voter fraud). The person paying the price is the American Tax Payer.

Illegal aliens add a tax burden on legal citizens:

Illegal aliens drain on tax monies that would otherwise be spent for law-abiding citizens. Social services for illegal aliens were estimated to cost the law-abiding American taxpayers. Most current estimates for costs of illegal alien services since 1996 is almost 400 trillion dollars (ImmigrationCounters.com

New Jersey spends more than $2.1 billion annually on public expenditures for education, medical care, and incarceration for the estimated 372,000 illegal aliens residing in the state. Governor Jon Corzine admitted, that illegal aliens are, "one of the worst tax burdens in the United States."

Officials in California report that providing illegal immigrants these social services costs the state $3 billion annually.
