So how is that Trinity Sub??? Is it true what they say, that is can produce a 20 Hz note at over 100+ DB
The Trinity Sub SOUNDS like it can produce a 20 Hz note at 120dB, but I don't have the lab equipments to confirm that.
I have this DTS Test CD that has a 10Hz-20Hz Sweep. I sound level match all my channels to 65dBC. Right off the bat (10Hz), the Trinity immediately produced the level-matching SPL of 65 dBC. With the Trinity Gains Control (volume) set to 50%, the Trinity Sub produced this extremely powerful scary earthquake-like sound wave. I don't even want to be around to hear what it sounds like at 120dB!
The BP7000SCs' SuperCube Reference Internal Subs pack a huge punch of their own as well. Again with all my channels matched at 65dBC, the BP7000SCs produced a 45dBC right off the bat (10Hz) and within 5 seconds got up to 65dBC, which I assume is around 16-20Hz.
I'm sure my measurements are not 100% accurate with my limited equipment, especially with my reference sound level at 65dBC, instead of the usual 90dBC.
But it does sound like an 10,000 cubic inch earthquake-producing beast with two 14-inch subwoofer drivers, four 14-inch radiators, and a 2,000-watts RMS amplifier!
I'm sure your Four SuperCube Reference Subs (including the 2 SC-Refs in the BP7000SCs) can also produce all the bass you will ever need.
