Crap, I just got back from vacation at myrtle beach, first time there, it was a blast.

Anyways, I get home, and I go to charge my ih120, turns out I plugged it into the wrong charger. POP, and smoke, dead Iriver. Talk about a crappy end to a great vacation.

Here's my DIY crappy far-from-audiophile battery powered headphone amp... but at least it sounds better than just having the headphones plugged into the iPod:

The beach and mp3 players are a wicked combination. I had some enjoyable musical moments but keeping the player in a plastic bag sealed with a rubber band creeped me out. A few grains of sand and the player is ruined. Sorry for your loss. The iRiver is an amazing piece of technology.
