If he's at all tight on budget and can save $100 I don't think the PB12 is a bad option either. Not as flexible but still a competent sub.

I don't see the PB12 offered on the SVS site currently....and the PB2000 is $800 (or $730 in the outlet store).

I will think about it, and I will try to see the option of vtf2, I think I like it better. The truth is that I like to ask questions because people on the street give you options, but many of them do not know in depth audio, so I am glad that you have given me this new option of vtf2, I will think about it, many thanks

If he can swing the VTF 2, that would be the choice IMHO, but at 499 w shipping the SVS is a close 2nd.
Tho that could change the advantage of buying direct from SVS (full factory warranty and audition period) unless it's an authorized seller.
