House is highly enjoyable, although about half of the enjoyment I derive from the show is how amazingly unrealistic it is... what residency program trains an infectious disease doctor to do brain surgery, cerebral arteriograms, bronchs, EGD's, colonoscopies, etc. etc. ID MD's are internal medicine docs, who sit around all day and "mentally masturbate" on differential diagnoses. Thus, the dry erase board in the office. Although it is much more entertaining for them to run around and do all the diagnostic tests themselves!!

ITT: people defend one of their favorite shows against people that are simply stating what they don't like about it.

Season finale of house tonight

The t.v guide says, House's murky memories of the bus crash test his friendship with Wilson and threaten to change their lives forever.

Seems like it might be a very good episode.

Did you watch last week's? If not, you'd be missing Part 1 of tonight's episode.

*****spoiler Alert*****

It was quite a weeper.
Soft music, Amber dies, House emerging from his coma, Wilson devastated and the other female doc finds out she has Huntington's disease. Plenty of plot lines for next season. I'd lend a plot line where a recovered House has a supernatural assistant...the spirit of Amber, who shows up when he is stuck between an exotic poison and cancer of the toenail.

I knew a father and daughter who had Huntington's chorea. This is a very bad neurological disorder. I have seen this disorder first hand and watching it progress in somone is very sad, unfortunetly he passed the gene to his daughter. When Thirteens Huntington's chorea starts to progress in the show there is NO way she can continue to be a doctor. It will be interesting to see where they take all these plots lines.

I have not been a huge fan of this show in the past although my wife watches it every week. I must say the last two episodes of this season were very good and I think I will keep up with it next season.

I like the series alot but Omar Epps is by far, one of the worst actors of the generation. The whole old team stinks and its time to move on. Ugh, it's tedious to watch it sometimes.

Omar Epps more specifally Dr. Foreman is a very minor character in my opinion. I do not watch this show because of him, I watch this show because of House and the brilliant acting of Hugh Laurie and he trumps everything. I think Hugh Laurie is the best actor on television these days. The only actors that matter to me on this show other than House is Dr. Wilson and Cutty:D:):) all the other actors I do not care what they do and how they perform.

She can go on but not as a surgeon. Huntington's doesn't have much influence over cognitive functions, so at her age, she can probably go on for some more years. I used to know a Huntington's person myself and know how awful it is, but I bet they chose that malady just because of its plot possibilities.

It's a little odd how the old team is still around but not getting much air time. I liked the role of Chase in the finale episode, but I'd have to agree that Omar Epps is getting shafted in the scripts. His character is now almost completely one-dimensional. You can almost predict all his lines and "eye rolls".

When does the next season start?
Depends if there is a actors strike. They've already started filing season 5. If there is a strike, we will still get to see some House episodes.

Check IMDB for the start date.

Dr. Foreman is an important character. He may just seem 1 sided, but he's really battling with the fact that he's turning into House, someone he dislikes. I enjoy watching him deal with it day in day out. If we could only see some 13-Cuddy action.
