Help: Sunfire Dominator D series of subwoofers

Hi,

I got a Sunfire Dominator D-12 subwoofer, and it really plays great.
It is a very compact and powerfull sub, but what is strange to me is that this sub seems to be pretty rare.
What I mean is, I have seen no review's yes of this serie of Sunfire subwoofers, and it seems that it is not very common in this forum.

Any body here that have a sub from the Sunfire D serie, what is your expirence, have you seen any review's, and have anybody done any comparence between these subs, and other subs?

Search the forum. There was quite a bid of talk about them when they were on sale.

I have actually searched the forum, but I cannot really find any real feedback about the Sunfire Dominators, such as user reviews, or comparing to other subwoofers in same price range.
I was simply wondering if the Sunfire Dominators were seen as a low quality product, and that was why there has been so little attention to them.

Not sure what the story is with them, but I have heard the one you have. It sounded pretty typical for a sealed sub of this type. Not a lot of bottom end impact, as is common with sealed subs, but good output thanks to a ton of power. For the price, it is not bad.

They seem to be some kind of discontinued or old product under the Carver name that somehow got to some distributors. Sunfire purchased them back and reissued them with the Sunfire name on them I believe.
