Greetings all, just signed up to the forums.
I have a question that may or may not have already been answered in this forum. But, this is the most extensive site I've seen on such matters, so here goes....
I have a pair of Sharp CP-9860(WD) speakers. I love them, cause they work exceptionally great. They came with a matching receiver/amp that has kind of worn out their welcome, however.
What I'm trying to do is match a more modern a/v receiver up with these speakers. I'm not trying to break the bank, mind you, but here's what I need to hook up to said receiver, along with the speakers:
Vizio 60" LCD (monitor output)
CP-9860(WD) speakers (Audio Output)
DirectTV Genie (input)
Older DVD Player (input)
Nintendo Wii (input)
I got the specs on the speakers off the back of one of the boxes. They are as follows:
Rated Input Power - 150w
Peak Input Power - 300w
Impedance - 8 ohms
(Equipped with Audio Reset Circuit breaker)
I have no idea on how to get all of this accomplished in one affordable box. I looked at the Denon AVR-E400 7.1, but I'm not sure if it will do what I need it to do with the speakers.
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
