This will also pair with a harmony hub so you can control devices that use IR/RF/Bluetooth and home control devices such as lights, fans, outlets, locks, etc... controlled by smartthings, lutron, etc...

I'm not sure what the difference is, this only includes the remote, charging base, power cord, and usb cable.
