I did really like the books but the TV series may have actually surpassed them. Anyway cant wait and I think my favorite character is Arya Stark closely followed by Tyrion Lannister. I like those 2 characters because they have been underdogs throughout the series and are both honorable. But they can also be ruthless when the situation calls for it. I also like the Sam Tarly character.

And they have already finished filming but the cast is remaining tight lipped on the finish. Like I said before can't wait.

Yeah it would be nice to have GOT UHD all in one box but I bought the seasons piecemeal and most of them slightly used. I believe all but only season 7 is Blu Ray the rest I have are DVD.

Apparently the upconversion, HDR grade and wide color gamut is spectacular, and season 2 and up used better cameras so they expect even better results. And they ported over the Atmos mix from the Blu-ray re-releases, which were already monsters. Essentially they are cinema quality experiences. That's what I'm waiting for.
