Doors are always closed pretty much. The back of the rack is completely open and the sides are perforated metal, so plenty of air flow.

Finally got the LEDs installed the way I wanted. It cycles 16 colors, but I kind of like it blue

Messing around since the real black plates won't be available for at least 2 months it seems. Gonna get a quote from a local shop to see how much to get them powder coated satin black

New media rack came in yesterday. Nice and simple. I have enough BDs to fill this rack, but still trying to sort what goes where.

Elegant looking. I had to get 3 all in one 520 cases. I filled up 2 with just CD's! I need one more. I still have a bin and a half full of DVD/BD's to fill. I have that Close Encounter sealed on BD too. Of course the case Is ruined and will go into the case.

It isn't sealed, I just cut the other end open

I got this rack just for movies/PS3 games; and I have one more full tote and another rack that has about another 60 or so. CDs is another story... I will probably have to put the PS3 games somewhere else. I mainly bought it because I like the way it looks and I don't like the way most others look. I started to run out of places to put the CDs...so I will put movies into this one to make room for the CDs

Normally I prefer form over function, but I bought those stands just because I like the way they look (plus they were on sale) They seem like they'd be kinda light, but the curved bars on the bottom are solid steel so they are fairly heavy at the bottom and they have a decent size top platform. I actually have my larger pair of bookshelf speakers on them right now; will snap some pics at the house this weekend.

^ Bell'O makes some nice stuff. I just bought a center/tv stand from them and color me impressed. Very good fit and finish; easy to assemble too. Notice you have 'Dishonored' for PS3, I just bought it; how is it? I'm tackling Far Cry 3 at the moment so I was curious on your thoughts. Sorry to derail your build thread but I saw the pic of it in the media rack

Yeah, I was pretty happy with the quality of these stands. I've been a fan of Bell'O for some time now, just never owned anything from them myself.

I like Dishonored. STILL have not finished it yet because I got sidetracked on some other games, but it is fun. I do tend to like stealth games, not all of them, but this one and Deus Ex are both great.
