I heard today on the Howard Stern show that he may have three channels on XM next year, and that Jimmy Buffet will have his own station. If the sound quality is as bad as people say, what a waste. I don't think Stern is going to make it on XM. I'm not going to buy XM to listen to him. Problem is, XM does a great job marketing itself to everyone. Heck, they were able to squeak into Yamaha's receivers. Pioneer carries the tuner on their car decks. Having to pay for cable, internet, phone, cell phone, etc... is becoming a hassle. I agree with you on paying for radio, but we all pay for local channels through cable. It's never ending. Whenever and wherever they can make a buck. One day, if they get their wish, there will be no such thing as free tv or radio.
