This most be one of the best sounding albums in 2017. It is mesmerizing. And it is live.
Recorded in DXD and available in all kinds of formats. The DXD is almost 6gb! I am sure the flac96 does a good job too:).

Seems most my favorite live albums don't "sound" very good. The performances are great. That is why they are my favorite. But they clip and there is noise and sometimes the artist is sloppy.

But, there is one shinning exception. IMHO, the great live recording ever:

Wow. Love for the Marshall Tucker Band. Its been a long time since they have come across my speakers.
I'm going to have to go dig some up and give 'em a listen. I loved their music back in the day

Her new album is maybe without an audience but it is straight to one microphone so pretty ''live'' it is.

Live recording done straight to one special American made Josephson microphone, completely phase coherent they claim....anyhow it sounds fantastic, as if being there in person;
