Wow Denon has hit the gold with this one, it just made me go ewww (shivers too) like I did with the Sony STR-DA4/7ES just got the right look, Got a chance to see the RX-V2400, and don't like the folding of the edges of the faceplate as much as my RX-V1300.  Adding the RJ-45 is sweet, now if they could do 64bit Float I'd be jumping at it's throat.  Maybe we need to tell AD to get on the ball

Dlink is great for DVD-A !!!  However, there are configuration tradeoffs I will be discussing in my review of the DVD-5900 shortly.

As a updated AVC-A1SE owner I try to decide, to buy DVD-A11 or not.. Anyway I have decided to wait and see what happened Dlink3 SACD approval.

For the moment you are correct.  DLink is not active for SACD.  But it should be coming soon so hang in there....

cool looking remote, and the receiver looks sharp too. I love my 2400 but if the 3805 was out 2 months ago I would really have had a tough decision just based on looks alone. I look forward for the review fella's.

I just bought the AVR-3803 about 1 1/2 months ago.  The retailer was nice enought to let me return that one and order the 3805.  Does anyone have any insight on how this might sound?  Will the 3805 sound the same as the 3803 or maybe better

So Denon has enabled SACD via Dlink in these new models, 3805 / 5803a / AVC-A1SRA? Really??

Denon Link 3 is SACD ready, yes, but did your contact only meant that it is possible when Denon gets approval to use it?

First receiver iunder 2000$ with direct link for multichannel audio (street price should be around 1000$). Now we need a DVD player with D-link under 1000$ (like DVD-2200 or DVD-2900) and we are in business.

The Pioneer Elite 55TXi lists for $1700 (but can be had for much less) has i.Link available for both DVD-A and SACD.

It's offical, the new Denon AVR-3805 is now on sale!  I saw it on crutchfield.com in stock not pre-order. But I'll be getting mine 3/12/04 at my local Good Guys retail store.
