Epson 1040 powerlite home cinema screen problem

Hello everyone, looking for some projector help my screen keeps going straight to (see pic below). Not sure what this is. I tried a different hdmi cable but no success. For some reason I can’t upload pics but every image on the screen has lines going thru them really bad to where you can barely make out what playing on the screen. Would you guys be able to help? Thanks

Have you tried a different source?
Have you tried using a short HDMI cable with a source connected right to it?
Is there anything between the source and the projector like an A/V receiver?
Do the lines appear on the menu or anything else?
Have you tried a different input on the projector?

If the lines appear always, no matter what, then you will need to contact Epson.

When I have no source hooked up the main screen is fine as soon as I hook up a hdmi cable it goes fuzzy. I have tried different hdmi cables with no luck.

Did you try both HDMI connections? Did you try hooking up a VGA source? What sources have you tried hooking up to it?

I tried all sources and switched hdmi connections and also used different hdmi cables. No luck thanks
