All the reviews say that the speakers in most flat screens are an afterthought, and I have some hearing impairment from my time spent in the Army. Due to some recent employment changes, my wife and I now live in an apartment. We used to have a sophisticated Mirage Sound System in our home. We're only now to the point in our recovery, where we can possibly look toward acquiring a more basic sound system for our viewing and listening enjoyment.
