B. Wall mounted (Wire under carpet or baseboards)

3. If there was a high quality wireless surround sound speaker available would you consider it for a home theater system?

E. Other: I have speaker wires run under the carpet so that's not an issue for me for surrounds and a wireless speaker still needs a power cable so it accomplishes nothing for me. On the other hand wireless would be great for a subwoofer.

4. Wireless speakers have the amplifiers built in and so they need to be plugged into the wall for power. Would this limit you from considering wireless surrounds?

D. The sound, looks and design are nice but it's all about the sound.

Contest Questions:

1. How important is it to you to match the look of the surround sound speakers with the front speakers in a 5.1 or 7.1 system?
a.Not important. Sound is what matters.
b.Not important. My surround speakers are on the other side of the room so it doesn’t really matter if they all match or not.
c.Not important. My subwoofer doesn’t match anyway.

I picked a, b, and c (since they are all correct). However, one thing I will mention is that you generally want a consistant sound from around the room, so the easiest way to get that similar sound is to purchase speakers from the same company and series - hence they will look the same or similar

2. Currently, if you have surround speakers where are they located? If don’t have surrounds, why not?
a.Wall mounted (Concealed wires)

3. If there was a high quality wireless surround sound speaker available would you consider it for a home theater system?
d.No, I don’t trust wireless quality yet.

4. Wireless speakers have the amplifiers built in and so they need to be plugged into the wall for power. Would this limit you from considering wireless surrounds?
a.No, I have outlets all over the place.
c.Yes, I want a clean custom installed look, the power cords would be a deal breaker.

I also picked c, except it just means I woudl DIY an additional outlet to the location if there was not one there already. So not a deal breaker, but I do want a clean custom installed look.

5. When you buy audio electronics, some products use an inline power adapter (“Power Brick”/”Wall Wart”). If you are considering a wireless speaker for surrounds and where you’d place them, which would you prefer? (Please choose one)
a.Internal Power Supply, so it has an AC Power cord only.

I don't want to deal with concealing a brick.
